The Eastside Culture Crawl returns for its 29th year from November 20–23, 2025, featuring more than 500 artists in over 80 buildings—a 25% increase from last year.
The annual event, organized by the Eastside Arts Society (EAS), invites visitors into artists’ studios across the Eastside Arts District, Vancouver’s most concentrated creative hub.
This year introduces a three-year partnership with the Audain Foundation, recognizing the importance of sustaining creative spaces in the city.
“Vancouver is home to a growing number of artists who continue to create in the face of tremendous economic hardships,” said Esther Rausenberg, Artistic Director of EAS.
The free festival draws 45,000 visitors annually, offering a glimpse into diverse disciplines including painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, and design.
Pre-festival events include Take Flight, a fundraiser running until November 4, featuring an Art Roulette draw and a silent auction with prizes like a curator-led tour of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
A Preview Exhibition, themed Passion, Reason, Idiocy, runs November 6–30 at Pendulum Gallery, The Cultch Gallery, and Alternative Creations Gallery, showcasing works from 78 local artists.
