The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is back at Jericho Beach Park this weekend, running Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 20, with three days of live music, workshops, and community celebration.

Now in its 45th year, the beloved festival will welcome 44 acts from around the world, performing across multiple stages in one of the city’s most scenic outdoor venues.

Friday’s programming kicks off at 3:00 p.m., with Mainstage performances beginning at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the festival grounds open at 10:00 a.m., offering a full day of concerts and the festival’s signature collaborative workshops—impromptu artist mashups that often lead to some of the weekend’s most memorable moments.

The weather forecast looks promising, and organizers encourage attendees to bring sun protection, reusable water bottles, and an appetite for food truck fare. Festivalgoers can expect a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere with artisan vendors, beer gardens, and kids’ activities.

Tickets are available online and at the gate, with options for single-day entry or weekend passes.
