Vancouver’s Eastside will come alive with colour, creativity, and community from July 18 to 27 as the Eastside Arts Society (EAS) returns with the 5th edition of its summer celebration, the Eastside Arts Festival.
Formerly known as CREATE! Eastside Arts Festival, this year’s expanded edition will offer more programming than ever before, including an all-day outdoor event at MacLean Park on July 26, a slate of new art-making workshops, and a vibrant lineup of live performances and guided walking tours.
Spanning artist studios, breweries, and performance venues across the Eastside Arts District (EAD), the festival celebrates the area’s diverse and thriving arts scene. Art lovers of all ages and abilities can enjoy interactive workshops, free and ticketed live shows, walking tours with cultural organizations, and opportunities to engage directly with local artists.
Tickets are now available: workshops are $35, walking tours are $20, and performance tickets range from $20 to $60. The full schedule and ticket information can be found at eastsideartsfest.ca.
From felt to fermentation, embroidery to indie rock, the Eastside Arts Festival offers a one-of-a-kind summer celebration for Vancouver’s creative community.
