Rock ‘n’ Roll at Kits Beach. A pandemic won’t stop our Kits Showboat. You can enjoy the shows virtually on Facebook every Wednesday in July at 7:00pm.  After 85 years at the beach, it will still be here when this is over. Kits Showboat is a feel good event that is run entirely by volunteers. Support their fundraiser July 8th, when Richard K. Lowy will perform some of the best songs of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Best walking along the beach is at the lowest tides in July: Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th

For a family activity with a history lesson: our local Maritime Museum has a new exhibit. Celebration 75 Years of Freedom commemorates the liberation of the Netherlands from German occupation in 1945. This exhibit commemorates Canadian bravery, Dutch gratitude, and the strong friendship between the two nations. The Museum is currently open Thursday to Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
