The City of Vancouver is showing their commitment to supporting businesses impacted by COVID-19 by allowing restaurants to add patio space to their existing storefront.
The new program will help businesses and their customers follow the physical distancing measures outlined by the Provincial Health Officer.
The patio program will allow businesses to get free temporary patio permits for an on-street parking space or on a sidewalk in-front or beside the business.
To date the following Kitsilano businesses will applied and been approved for temporary patios this summer.
Beaucoup Bakery and Cafe at 2150 Fir Street
Colony Bar at 3255 West Broadway
Fable at 1944 West 4th Avenue
Lucky Taco at 1685 Yew Strett
Their There at 2042 West 4th Avenue
