A new London Drugs store is planned for the corner of West 4th and Macdonald as part of a new, mixed-use development.

The site is next door to Fun in the Sun and across the street from another vacant lot, which was formerly a Chevron gas station before it was transformed into a community garden.

According to Urban YVR, Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership has designed a four-storey building with retail on the ground floor and 67 units above.

The site rendering pictures a London Drugs although they have not confirmed this as a new location.

The new building will have 168 parking spaces over three levels. The developer is also requesting a height relaxation of approximately 4 feet, as the new building will be 49 ft. tall — four feet taller than what current zoning allows.
