KitsFest returns to Kits Beach this weekend running from August 10th to 12th.
This year’s lineup includes volleyball, tennis, water polo, and touch football tournaments. If you’re interested in a work out, check out Lululemon’s sunset beach yoga class, Steve Nash Fitness spin classes, or the RYU beach boot camp class.
And thanks to the folks behind KitsFest, bathtub racing is returning to Vancouver after a 22-year absence.
Scheduled to be held at Kits Beach on August 11th, the KitsFest Bathtub Circuit Race will take place in English Bay with races going on throughout the afternoon.
Event organizers are expecting 20+ bathtubs entered to race the 1 mile course across 3 divisions and multiple heats.
Attendance is expecting to top 10,000 spectators and the event will include a 1,200 person beer garden hosted by The Local Public Eatery.
Visit KitsFest online for the complete schedule and up-to-date info.
