The Salvation Army thrift store at West 4th Avenue and Cypress Street is coming down.

Rositch Hemphill Architects is seeking a rezoning to turn the 10,500-sq-ft property at 1906 West 4th into a five-storey mixed-use building with rental housing.

According to the rezoning application, the ground level will feature four retail units with storefronts on West 4th.

Above will be 32 secured market rental units, including one studio unit, seven one-bedroom units, 18 two-bedroom units, and six three-bedroom units.
