The already breathtaking suspension bridge is decked out in a dazzling outfit of twinkly lights. The display is open 11am to 9pm. Regular entry tickets ($40 for adults; deep discounts for students, seniors and kids; 6 and under are free), which aren’t cheap, give you access to holiday fun. Christmas activities including cookie decorating begin at 4pm.
A truly magical winter wonderland with over 1 million lights decorating 15 acres of VanDusen Botanical Garden. This year they’ve expanded by 5 acres. Expect indoor entertainment, dancing lights, storytelling from VPL, Christmas gnomes, photos with Santa, food trucks, amazing selfie spots & more. Open daily, from 4:30pm, rain or shine until December 31. Adult tickets are $18.50 and it goes down from there for seniors, students, teens, kids etc.

Every December, Stanley Park’s famous train transforms into the Christmas Train and takes riders on a journey through a forest of twinkling lights and splendid Christmas displays. Along with the train ride, Bright Nights includes a chance to visit Santa. Tickets start at $11 for adults. You can buy them in advance online.
Stroll through the streets of the Village and check out the wreaths, cedar swags and vintage-themed light displays. At the bandstand, visitors can create their own magical holiday show with new full-globe lights that twinkle and change colours to sound. Special entertainment is scheduled throughout the season including theatre performances, community choirs, street characters and musicians. Many family favourite activities are back including a craft for children, baking in the Farmhouse and, of course, visits with Father Christmas. Free admission. Carousel rides for about $3.
