In less than two weeks it will be the jolly month of December and that means you can start your advent calendar! Don’t have one yet? Here are some ideas, and it’s not just the chocolate ones either.

Whole Foods and SPUD have a fairtrade milk chocolate advent calendar from Divine that has no artificial colours or flavours, or preservatives in it. Perfect for kids and adults. It’s priced around $10

Drinks

For beer lovers, the BC Liquor Store stocks the Red Racer & Parallel 49 – The Great White Wonder Adventure Pack. That means you’re in for 24 days of delicious local craft beers, from fruit flavoured infusions to barrel aged beers and winter refreshments. It will cost you $59.99

Not far away, over in the Dunbar neighbourhood, the New District wine shop is offering Wine Advent Calendars that range from $499 to $1,099. Yes, it’s pricey, but it does include full-size bottles of top local and international selections, including red, white, rose, and sparkling.

Tea drinkers out there? David’s Tea has a 24 Days of Tea Advent Calendar for $45, filled with a wide range of loose leaf teas including some classic favourites such as Cream of Earl Grey, Forever Nuts, The Spice is Right, plus seasonal flavours, green teas, and a few fun surprises.

Cosmetics

Lush has a festive 12 Days of Christmas box packed with treats that include their signature bath bombs, shower gel, soap, and much more. The box is sturdy enough to keep and reuse for storing your holiday decorations afterwards. Yours for $114.95

Toys
