The Seaforth Highlanders of Canada change of command parade takes place this Saturday, September 21st at the Seaforth Armoury on Burrard Street.

Over 100 Seaforth Highlanders of Canada soldiers and cadets will be participating in the parade along with the Pipes & Drums. The ceremony will include a passing of the Commanding Officer’s sword.

Lieutenant-Colonel Ed L. Haverstock, CD will be replacing Lieutenant-Colonel Paul V. Ursich, CD.

Paul Ursich has been serving the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada as Lieutenant-Colonel since 2015 and will be passing the command to Ed Haverstock in a formal ceremony.

The change of command parade starts at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1650 Burrard Street and is scheduled to end at 2:30pm.

Formed in 1910 by members of the local Scottish community, the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada have served as volunteer soldiers, supporting Canada in every major Canadian Forces overseas mission, including the two World Wars and most recently Afghanistan.
