Friday, September 15th
Stick your head in the sand for an evening and have some fun (and drinks and dinner) at one of our favourite Kitsilano restaurants – Fable, AnnaLena, The Oakwood, and Mission.
Or drink heavily while watching a good movie at Fifth Avenue Cinemas on Burrard Street where they are currently showing Dunkirk, It, Wind River, and Tulip Fever.

Saturday, September 16th
Flock to the UBC Farm for their annual Fall Fair today from 9am till 1pm. This is a free event and will include live music, a farmers market, activities for kids, and a pie competition (see the details on their website for how to enter into this competition).
Take part in the Bike the Night ride tonight at 8pm (tickets are $20 now if you’re not a HUB Cycling Member but it will include some freebies and a chance to win prizes). Dress up in costume, deck our your bike, and bring tunes along the way for a fun family-friendly night with thousands of other riders.

Sunday, September 17th
Down south of us, the annual Southlands Country Fair will be on today from 10am till 5pm, rain or shine, and entry is by donation. This is a busy, family-friendly equestrian-themed fair with horse shows, pony rides, a petting zoo, food trucks, a market, and live entertainment. Wear farm gear such as wellies, jeans, a light rain jacket, and a hat. Come early for the best (and free) street parking spots.
