The Modern Architecture + Design Society’s Vancouver Modern Home Tour is returning for a fifth year on September 16th.

The self-guided tour includes six homes spread across the city from West Vancouver to Pacific Spirit Regional Park, all representing the work of leading local architects and designers.

This year’s tour includes a laneway home in Kitsilano at 3198 Waterloo Street designed by Iredale Architecture.

Spacious for a laneway home at 630 square feet, the Pandit Laneway Residence references the linear geometry of the existing house, while creating its own unique west-coast modern identity.

Tickets for the Modern Architecture + Design Society’s Vancouver Modern Home Tour are available online for $50.

The ticket price includes tour admission and a party on the Thursday before, where there will be food, drinks and a Q&A with some of the architects.
