Earlier this year the City of Vancouver bought the nine-kilometre stretch of CP Railway land known as the Arbutus Corridor for $55 million in a landmark deal.

The Mayor says the corridor will become the Arbutus Greenway, a future north-south transportation corridor that will connect False Creek to the Fraser River.

In the short term, the City of Vancouver is building a temporary path, which will be completed later this year. In September, the City held five workshops on temporary path design options.

Now the City is inviting the public to a public information session on October 15th to learn how their feedback shaped the final design for the temporary path. City staff will be available to answer questions.
