Alt-pop siren Hannah Georgas and indie-rock supergroup Mounties will headline Kitsilano’s annual free music festival Khatsahlano Street Party on July 9, 2016. Vancouver’s largest free outdoor music festival, curated by our very own Zulu Records, will take over 10 blocks on West 4th Avenue with main stages at both Burrard Street and MacDonald Street.

Kitsilano restaurants and shops along 4th Avenue will be holding sales and giveaways, and providing samples and games on the street. You can expect a family zone, beer gardens, and food trucks. There will also be yoga, fashion shows, cooking demos and a mixology show down featuring West 4th Avenue bartenders..  The new highlight this year is the West 4th Living Stage, focusing on Kitsilano life.

The line-up also includes We Are the City, Jasper Sloan Yip, Woolworm, Gang Signs, Malcolm Jack, Noble Oak, Kash Honey, Mesa Luna, and White Poppy. Georgia Straigh has covered artists: Rodney DeCroo, Jody Glenham, Twin River, Hot Panda, MU, and Holy Hum. (For the full list, go here.)
