Time is running out for Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival 2016.

If you have a sweet tooth, act fast. You can still sip delicious hot chocolate-themed creations and all their decadent accessories now through February 14 at participating Vancouver cafes. There are 25 “chocstars” serving 59 different flavours of hot chocolate.

In Kitsilano, we’re spoiled for choice. Chocolate Arts, Terra Breads, Thomas Haas, and  49th Parallel Coffee + Lucky’s Doughnuts are participating in the Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival.

49th Parallel + Lucky’s

The Bee’s Knees – Lavender-infused dark hot chocolate combined with steamed milk and served with a honey marshmallow and two honey lavender biscotti dipped in white chocolate

Saturday Nut Fever – A Gianduja (milk chocolate and hazelnut) hot chocolate combined with steamed milk and served with two hazelnut Amaretti cookies and a house made hazelnut truffle

Hot Chocolate and a Doughnut Combo – The #1 seller from last year’s Hot Chocolate Festival includes 49th Parallel’s classic hot chocolate served with any doughnut from the Lucky’s Doughnuts showcase.

Chocolate Arts

Single ‘MALT TEASER’ – a bittersweet hot chocolate teased with 10 year Aberlour single malt whiskey, served with a malted meringue in dark chocolate.

The ‘CREAMSICLE’ – a vanilla & white chocolate hot chocolate with blood orange sorbet served with a bitter orange macaron.

CARAMEL³ – with caramel, caramel sauce & a cube of toffee caramel choice of semi-sweet or bittersweet hot chocolate.

Terra Breads

Honey Buns – made with Venezuela dark chocolate, our house-made chilli infused honey, cinnamon and bourbon vanilla bean + paired with a baby cinnamon bun.

Chocolate Chums – Chocolate Chums features Alunga milk chocolate, a dollop of mascarpone, pecan fruit crisp stick + our good friends at Chocolate Arts have made these baby chocolates to go with.
