Vancouver’s largest music and arts festival is coming up in Kitsilano this Saturday, July 12. Here’s what you need to know.

Khatsahlano Street Party will take over ten blocks of West 4th Avenue between Burrard and MacDonald from 11am to 9pm. The ten blocks will have 8 stages ready for a line up of 50 bands curated by our very own Zulu Records. All shows are free.

You will also find 40 food trucks parked around the area, as well as three beer gardens, outdoor art shows, and 100+ artisans selling locally made goodness.

In addition to the grown -up entertainment, families with little ones will want to hit up the Family Zone at Trafalgar Street which will have hours of live acts for children, games, balloon artists, face painting, a roving juggler, yo-yo artists and more.

Find answers to other Khatsahlano FAQs (participating bands, showtimes, pets, traffic, art etc.) after the jump.

Agree, Jess. We know there will be three but they’re not on the Khatsahlano map yet. http://www.khatsahlano.com/#location. We’ll get in touch with Arrival Agency and see what we can find out.

  3. Taraneh says:

Beer garden locations will be: Cypress, Yew, and Stephens Streets.
