Most Kitsilano residents have strolled or jogged by Chip Wilson’s 30,600-sq.-ft. doozie of a private residence on Point Grey Road. If you approach from the waterfront, you can’t miss the giant graffiti mural Wilson commissioned for the seawall behind his new mansion. After you finished picking your jaw up off the pavement/sand, you may have wondered what the yoga pants palace is worth. Drum roll, please. Annual property assessments show that Wilson owns B.C.’s most expensive home at $54 million. The custom job has two floors, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Does anyone know if there’s an uglier pile of concrete slabs in this entire country?

The term ‘butt ugly’ comes to mind every time I cycle past that abomination-by-the-sea.

I love the way he’s put in so many full sized trees around the house, you can barely see it from the street.
What I wouldn’t give for a house tour, or better yet go to a party there.

The house is excellent design. It is great to see something modern in Kitsilano instead of all the boring 100 year old houses that look rotting piles of wood. Better than the ugly 1980’s houses that are everywhere. A tour would be great.
