Oh, those thought-provoking three little words: back to school. Do they agitate or alleviate your stress levels? Either way, next week Tuesday, September 3, 2013 is another start to the school year in Vancouver. For those of you with kids going to elementary and high school in Kitsilano, here are a few shopping ideas, tips, and important links to help with last minute back to school preparations.

Back to School Tips

– If you haven’t been already, set an example and start reading books regularly to encourage your child to read too.
– To prepare your child for the inevitable first essay, discuss the summer events, and in particular the highlights.
– Shop together for nourishing ingredients to make snacks and lunches. You may be surprised at the healthy choices your child will make, or not…
– Get back to a consistent and early bedtime, starting this weekend!
