What are you doing on St. Patrick’s Day? We’re probably staying in and making corned beef and Irish soda bread. For those of you who don’t have a five-month-old and are looking to party/pub hop, here is a list of Kitsilano restaurants and bars with special St. Patrick’s Day events.

Where to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2013 in Kitsilano

Ceili’s, 1774 West 7th, Ceilis.com A Paint the Town Green St. Patrick’s Day party from 10am Sunday March 17 to closing. The rowdiness includes live music all day, Irish pipers and dancers.

The Bimini Public House, 2010 West 4th Ave.
The party is on from 11am to 1am March 17. The Knackers will play live Irish folk music and dj Jesse Styles is playing late. $6.00 Guinness and $4.00 Jameson

They’ve got the Irish thing going on all year round at this neighbourhood pub where the whiskey flows like water and everyone really does seem to know each other’s name.

In their words: “Many people die of thirst but the Irish are born with it.” Lots of drinks and eats specials for $5 and under.

The Wolf & Hound, 3617 West Broadway, Wolfandhound.ca
Voted best Westside pub by the Courier, Wolf & Hound has live music and Irish dancers from 11am onwards. There’s a $10 cover.
