Culprit Coffee opens on Vine at West 4th

Kitsilano hipsters who prefer to source their java a little closer to home will be excited by the opening of Culprit Coffee on Vine at West 4th. Culprit is currently serving artisan coffee from Fernwood Coffee in Victoria and fresh locally baked goods. I didn’t have time to stay for coffee today, but one look at the big made-with-love oatmeal raisin cookie under the glass solidifies the fact I will be back this weekend.

The store is hand-built, owned and operated by Kits residents Troy Wolfe and Emily Peterson. Personally, I love the aesthetic of the store. It is clean and very modern, yet somehow Troy and Emily have managed to retain that cozy vibe I love in a local coffee shop.

Culprit plans to add soups, salads and sandwiches to their menu in the next two weeks, offering Kits residents another great lunch spot too.

Fresh sandwiches and soup everyday, really tasty coffee and lots of goodies, including a plethora of gluten-free stuff
