Hello Kitsilano residents. The results from the Halloween Costume Contest are in. With an overwhelming number of submissions, it certainly wasn’t an easy decision. You knocked our socks off with creative, terrifying, avante garde, kitschy and hilarious get ups. Thanks for your Halloween spirit.

It was too difficult to pick just one winner, so we’ve added a prize for runner-up. You can scroll through pics of the top Halloween costumes after the jump.

First Prize ($100 to The BiBo) goes to Twitter user @Jacqlin_A for her costume “Pumpkin Pi”

Runner up ($50 to Oakwood Canadian Bistro) goes to Lilly Galley as Star Trek: The Next Generation Captain Jean Luc Picard.

“We thought we’d take advantage of the fact our daughter Lilly is still bald as a cue ball and here she is dressed as Captain Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation.” -Paula Galley, Lilly’s mother.
