Support the Canadian Cancer Society during Daffodil Month

1233

On April 1st the Canadian Cancer Society, BC and Yukon launched its Daffodil Pin Campaign that was piloted in BC last year and is being launched nationally this year.

Whether it’s through our friends or families, we all have a story about how cancer affects us. We are asking Canadians to wear a daffodil pin to show people affected by cancer that they are not alone on their cancer journey.

Daffodil pins will be available throughout Kitsilano including Chevron, Pharmasave, Wirelesswave, Flightcentre, Lifelabs and Whole Foods on West 4th Avenue alone.

And on Wednesday, April 27th Daffodil Day will be proclaimed and British Columbians will join Canadians across the country in demonstrating their support through an awareness raising event that will take place in major cities and towns throughout Canada.  Vancouver’s event will take place in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
