Kitsilano Stabbing

The Vancouver Observer reports that a thirty-six year-old man is recovering after getting stabbed on Sunday night. Apparently, an unknown assailant accosted the victim at 2800 block of West 4th, demanding the man’s wallet and then slashing him in the neck before running off.

The victim was assisted by several people after he was discovered bleeding at a bus stop. The area was searched by Vancouver Police Department’s canine team, but the suspect was not found.  The suspect is described as a dark skinned male, 20-30 years old, 5′ 09″, 155 lbs, with a thin build. Any witnessess to the stabbing are asked to come forward to the VPD.
