This Thursday, November 19th the Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce is hosting an educational seminar for Kits businesses called Realistic Social Media For Busy Business Owners.

Everyone is talking about Facebook, Twitter and blogging, but how can you take advantage of this amazing technology and still run your business.   As if you didn’t have enough on your plate and now people are telling you have to “tweet” too.  Social media is helping regular business owners experience amazing results, but social media works best if you know how to use it effectively.   The Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to Realistic Social Media For Busy Business Owners.  We’ve put together an amazing panel of local experts including Lauren Bacon, Mhairi Petrovic, Liz Gaige and Tod Maffin to help us better understand this new phenomenon and teach us how we can practically use it to grow our businesses, expand our databases and increase opportunities and revenue.

As an overworked business owner, we know you don’t need one more thing to do, so come and learn tips and tricks from the pros.  Start turning your friends and contacts into prospects and paying customers.   At this event, you will have the opportunity to ask your own social media questions during our Q & A style presentation as well as an opportunity to meet with our the panelists.

The seminar runs from 7:15am to 9:00am at Watermark at 1305 Arbutus Street. Once you’re up to speed with a Twitter account, fire us a note and we’ll add you to our Twitter list.
