Do you still have last year’s holiday dress languishing in your closet, unlikely to be worn again for your upcoming company’s party? Extend that dress’s party life for a good cause! Up until this Sunday, November 15, you can donate one gently worn party dress or pant suit to Wear Else in support of the disadvantaged working women in the Dress For Success program.
The Dress for Succes mission offers disadvantaged women professional attires, as well as a supportive network for finding jobs and developing careers. The West 4th Wear Else will host a special Holiday Styling Event, and every dress or pant suit that gets donated to this event will go to women who are about to attend their first holiday events at their place of employment. These dresses and suits will certainly help the women feel more confident and radiant.
In exchange for your donation, Wear Else offers a $50 gift card so you can buy yourself some in-season stylish dresses for your own holiday parties. Consider it an early gift!
Moulé also has a coat drive going on for the entire month. Bring in any coat in good wearable condition to donate to charity, and Moulé offers 20% for a new coat from their store. Please note the part about “good wearable condition,” as the coat must be presentable. Please, no coats with holes–it’s going to be cold soon, and trust me, holes aren’t going to keep anybody warm.
