kitsilanonewspaperDon’t worry, we’re not going anywhere.

By offline I mean a print version. Think Coffee News – but actually relevant hyper-local news worth reading and without the cheesy horoscopes.

Some of you may have noticed our inaugural print edition in a couple of coffee shops throughout the neighborhood. Wired Monk, 49th Parallel, Arbutus Coffee, Kits Coffee, and Take 5 Cafe were kind enough to distribute a handful of issues and the response has been terrific.

You can check out the PDF version here.

As a result, we’re planning on making this a regular monthly edition. Only one problem – color printing is expensive. So, we’re making some space available for advertisers in hopes of drumming up enough business to keep printing in color.

Any Kitsilano businesses out there interesting in advertising? You’re guaranteed highly targeted local eyeballs and you’ll be able to measure the success of your campaign if you design your ad as a coupon.

Fire me an email and we can chat about ad placements, distribution numbers and cost.

It is great to see someone this day and age moving from the web to print! I am a graphic designer and am used to having to adapt to the web. If anyone needs someone to design an ad layout, I can help you out. I work full time as a designer so I don’t charge much for my free-lance work. You can contact me through here…I have examples ect.
