Christmas Trees in Kits

2406

Well, “Christmas trees in about a 5 block radius from where we live” would probably be a more accurate title, but that made it a little long.

The two places for buying a real Christmas tree in Kits that I am aware of are at 8th & Arbutus (in the vacant lot next to Rogers Video) and 12th & Larch (at Kitsilano Secondary). I’m sure there are others, and feel free to share them in the comments.

yes, we got our tree from the lot at 8th and arbutus. the guy was very nice and sliced off the bottom of the tree for us so it would be fresh. prices are a little steep though. we paid $45. for a tree thats about 5′ 8″. we happened to be at Ikea yesterday and they have trees for $20. all sizes! but theres no Ikea in Kits, now is there?

There is no IKEA in kits, that is correct.

What there is though, is more tree farm, to Erik’s question:

    1) at the garden store in the IGA/liquor store parking lot at West Broadway and Maple?

    2) off Arbutus (near Quilchena Park) at 33rd (further West down 33rd)
