The Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce received a record number of nominees for the Westside Business Awards this year and the results are in.

The KCC announced the winners at a swanky evening awards event, held at the contemporary Jewel Ballroom February 23. Lululemon founder Chip Wilson was honoured with The Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’. Wilson shared his insights and inspiration to the local business community.

Now in its 8th year, The Westside Business Awards (WBA) of Distinction by Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce is a prestigious event celebrating the brightest and best of our local businesses. Calling all Westside business owners and professionals. The newly rejuvenated Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce (KCC) is holding a Wine, Cheese and Cholocate Masquerade Oct. 27, at the Museum of Vancouver.

As the title implies, guests can sip on old world Italian wines and a curated selection of BC wines while nibbling on chocs and cheese. KCC events are a luxe way to network with the right people and find out what tools are available for your Kits business and/or career.

Don’t let the masquerade element intimidate you. If you don’t have a Venice-worthy diguise, they’ll be passing out free masks at the door. Dress is semiformal. I also hear there’s going to be a chocolate fountain and fun photo opps with sporty vehicles provided by Ferrari Maserati Vancouver.
