Situated on the buzzing West 4th Avenue, Hell’s Kitchen is a wildly popular Kitsilano staple of 10+ years – a true local establishment. Hell’s Kitchen is a favourite with hockey fans who come to watch their boys, “The Canucks,” carve up their opponents. Wine buffs love the rowdy, seasonal Wine Rave. Everyone goes for the thin crust, New York style pizzas that come in 17 varieties.
Although Hell’s enjoys serious street cred as a first-class pizza restaurant, it also boasts an impressive line up of locally sourced, comfort food share plates, burgers and entrees. Pair these with the 11 draught beers, including a monthly rotating tap from a BC brewer, and it’s hard to ask for anything more. Except perhaps a cocktail, or whiskey from the largest American whiskey list in Canada. Sip it slowly on the Hell’s covered patio – prime time, people watching real estate in any season.

Pizza
Pizza at Hell’s Kitchen means simple yet imaginative pies of the highest quality. All pizzas are made in the classic New York, thin-crust style combining traditional ingredients with innovative West Coast flavours. There are 17 varieties on offer along with a build-your-own option. Pizzas are available in two sizes: 11” or 15” with gluten-free crust available on 11” pizza.
Favourite pies include “THE SOPRANO” (spicy capicolla, prosciutto, provolone, basil and chorizo), “PENNY LANE” (grilled zucchini, spinach, grilled artichokes, roasted red peppers and feta) and “SERGEANT PEPPERONI” (calabrese & double cured pepperoni, wild mushrooms and fresh thyme).
Lunch/Dinner
Rarely does a pizza restaurant boast such an impressive list of snacks, share plates, burgers and entrees. But Hell’s Kitchen does, and more importantly, does it right with locally-sourced, organic comfort food.
Poutine from Hell is enhanced by hand-cut Kennebec potatoes, aged Quebec white cheddar and peppercorn jus, with the option to add prosciutto or pulled pork. Wild BC Salmon comes crusted with basil and pistachio; vegetarians enjoy the classic, baked Eggplant Parmesan, served on Aglio e Olio linguine with chilli flakes. Delicate Dungeness crab-stuffed ravioli with wild mushrooms competes with heartier options like AAA Alberta baseball-cut top sirloin.
Brunch
There’s no better way to recover from late night good times at Hell’s Kitchen than with Hell’s own weekend brunch. The signature breakfast from Hell features two eggs prepared to your liking, with house roasted hash browns and toast, your choice of free-range turkey or chorizo sausage and crispy or smoked marinated bacon. Other options include a full range of bennys, fritattas, scrambles, hashes and even and omelet bar, with omega-3 eggs taking centre stage.

With 11 draught beers and one of the largest American whiskey collections in North America, Hell’s Kitchen excels at classic ale and booze.
All cocktails are all made with fresh fruit, juices, premium spirits and liqueurs. Stand outs include the Brooklyn (Jim Beam Bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, custom bitters, egg white) and Verrazano (Russian Standard Vodka, Giffard Mango, lime juice, Grace ginger beer).
