Our readers are highly geo-targeted and they’re looking for stuff to do in Kitsilano – whether it be going out for dinner, grabbing a coffee, or buying a new pair of shoes.

Promoting your business on Kitsilano.ca is simple. We have two options: Local Profiles and Banner Advertising.

Local Profiles:

A Local Profile will help your business to stand out in a crowded Kitsilano marketplace.

We’ll build your business a profile page on Kitsilano.ca (e.g. www.kitsilano.ca/hapa-izakaya) and then promote the heck out of it. Your business will be front and centre for locals, Vancouverites and tourists who visit our site and flock to the neighbourhood throughout the year.

Local Profiles include the following:

  • Dedicated Profile Page: Your own page on Kitsilano.ca that includes the following: logo, contact information, hours of operations, map, gallery photos, and links to recent media coverage.
  • Featured ad placement: A 120×60 pixel banner at the top of either our EAT,  SHOP, or WORK OUT page indicating our endorsement of your local business.
  • Social Media Promotion: Kitsilano.ca will tweet/retweet about your business up to ten times per month on Twitter and dedicate a minimum of one blog post to you business every quarter.

A Local Profile costs $400 per year.

Banner Advertising:

Banner advertising is available in two ad placements – one high exposure 250×250 pixel big-box ad unit OR a number of 125×125 pixel small-box ad units. Both ad placements are sold by the month and can be booked in advance.

  • The big-box ad guarantees you above-the-fold exposure and costs $500 per month. It is currently booked but will be available starting on February 1, 2012.
  • Small-box ads appear in our ‘SPONSORS’ section in the right sidebar and cost $100 per month. These ads rotate to insure equal exposure and are displayed on EVERY page of the website.
