Best patio in Kitsilano?

1989

It’s May: month of Victoria Day, the Kitsilano Farmers Market launch, Kitsilano Pool’s season opening and more. But today I’m concerned with the patio season, another hallmark of the swiftly approaching summer.

By May 17, I’m betting that you’ve found the time to occupy a Kitsilano patio, despite the occasional rainy set back. Kitsilano.ca wants your opinion on the best neighbourhood bar/cafe/restaurant patio.

We’ve put together a list of Kits patios based on reader comments from previous years. Please vote for your favourite patio below. If we’re missing one of your picks, add it by commenting.

My vote goes to The Galley (http://www.thegalley.ca/) at Jericho sailing club.

It’s not obvious that it’s there at all. You have to walk into the sailing club building and up the stairs to get there. You don’t need to be a boating type, it’s open to all. Decent food and beer, and fantastic views over downtown in the evening.

The local? are you serious? the patio would be good if the service would match the atmosphere!

I would also give my vote to Chewies! While food and staff is also amazing, it’s those super soft blankets that are the extra loving touch.
