Make a Cancer Fighting Donation and get FREE Advertising on Kitsilano.ca
May 8th UPDATE: Pebble Baby has joined the cause and donated $100 in exchange for a month of free advertising on Kitsilano.ca.
Last week I announced that it was time to get serious about raising money for my Ride to Conquer Cancer and I proposed that Kitsilano businesses step up with an offer.
In exchange for a $100 donation to my $2500 fund-raising goal, I offered one free month of advertising on Kitsilano.ca (valued at $200).
I figured it was a win-win all around as they would be helping fight Cancer (and get a personal tax receipt in the process) as well as testing out Kitsilano.ca as a hyper-local marketing tool for their business.
Three Kitsilano businesses agreed with me an took me up on the offer.
Rocky Mountain Flatbread was first with a $250 donation, followed by Realtor Ben Chimes with a $150 donation, and now Rack Trendz has donated $500 to the cause.
In all three cases, they went above and beyond what I was expected and I will extend the advertising offer accordingly.
