Tried the Flavour of the month at their West 10th location this afternoon and I was totally disappointed. The icing was too sweet and gritty, the cup cake was dry and bland. The icing reminded me of the kind that came out of a tube and the cake was similar to what you would get out of a box. Not worth the $3.10 I paid for it. Will never go back there again.

Really terrible design, and the product is sooo greasy. It really doesn’t seem to be made with much thought or care. At least the original Cupcakes store has nice design, even though their cupcakes aren’t the greatest either!

Cupcakes have been a little overdone and are old. The Thomas Haas Patisserie opening on W. Broadway should hopefully prove more exciting.

Their Red Velvet cupcake is quite good, with some very sticky sweet frosting on top
