Bill’s Door Store Closing
After years of restoration aficionados’ visits and neighborhood complaints to police, Bill is finally selling the “Door Store” at 3662 West 4th between Alma and Dunbar.
You will know it by the layers of new and old doors and heaps of brass, glass, wood, and other piled to the roof and wide enough for an aisle. Rumor is that it finally sold and after looking into the window, the front half of the store is now empty and some repairs are being made to the floor. So, if you are looking for some old growth fir doors, hinges, or clocks, head down quick to the South side of West 4th for a one-of-a-kind Restoration Hardware Old School.
