Old Coast Mountain Footprint Being Split?
After having lived with a kitsilano.ca blogger for a couple of years now, my wife has developed a pretty good eye for things going on in the ‘hood. Just yesterday, she noticed a piece of paper behind the door of the old Coast Mountain Sports location (West 4th @ Yew). On the piece of paper is a notice for a development application, proposing to split the property in two.
Probably a sensible move, as likely not many retailers are willing to take on such a large footprint right now.
It’s not a Development Permit just a Building Permit granting permission to divide the store in two-the work is almost complete as of this AM.
Word on the street is that it is going to be a pharmacy selling mostly natural products plus a clinic for minor cosmetics procedures.
