Canada Day on Granville Island

Granville Island is celebrating its 30th Anniversary on Canada Day this year and giving everyone plenty of good reasons to celebrate Canada on the Island.

With free jazz performances courtesy of the Coastal Jazz and Blues Society, roving performers, face painting, tattoos, and myriad activities, Granville Island is the place to be to celebrate our nation’s birthday. The 10th Annual Canada Day Parade promises to delight and entertain as it overflows with Canadians eager to show their patriotism. National and international activities and performers will be on hand to celebrate Canada’s cultural diversity, and of course, a smorgasbord of British Columbian artists and artisans will be on site, showcasing the province’s artistic culture.

Kick off the festivities with The Truly Canadian Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 am – 11:00 am at Dockside Restaurant with $1 from every meal going to Canuck Place.

A FULL schedule of Canada Day activities are listed here.
