Sunshine Diner expands to 96 seats
Dimitri has outdone himself with this huge expansion to the Sunshine Diner at 2649 West Broadway.
“We needed to expand” says Dimitri, “in order to be able to reduce the line ups and most importantly accommodate large family groups at one table.”
Under the replica ’57 Chevy 2 door hardtop, you can now bring your gang to this famous Kitsilano breakfast hangout. Everybody gets to sit down at once to one of West Broadway’s weekend breakfasts. Dimitri love of the ‘good ol’ days’ includes an new authentic Wurlistzer with 450 tunes from the days of rock and roll. If movies from the ‘golden era’ are more to your liking, Dimitri has also installed a large video screen displaying the classic movies of day ago.
The new much larger bathrooms will be a treat for moms and pops. Fold down change tables help with those special children moments.
Plans call for the expansion of the kitchen to assure you food will arrive more quickly and piping hot from the grill.
