Celebration of Light back on
I guess this really isn’t that much of a surprise. Given the media attention the cancellation got, it makes sense that a few companies looked at this as an opportunity to get that same attention by stepping up as the “savior of the Celebration of Light”. From News1130:
It’s come back from the dead, again. The Celebration of Light fireworks festival in Vancouver has been resuscitated, thanks to three new sponsors [...] The Keg restaurant, the Edgewater Casino, and ShoreFM.
I must say I’m excited the event is back on and that I will get a chance to check out a few displays after having to miss all four last summer.
