Fall at Kits Neighbourhood House and Fuel
This week, two of my favourite fall celebrations return:
- Fuel Restaurant‘s Second Annual Whole Hog Dinner starts tomorrow October 22, and will run until Saturday, October 25. For $69 you get to feast on a five course meal using different parts of a Sloping Hills Farms pig.
- Kitsilano Neighbourhood House’s annual Autumn Fair is this Saturday, October 25. This year’s event features classics such as a pancake breakfast, a pie eating contest, a local food market, carnival games, a pumpkin patch, music, and square dancing. Special activities for this year include a mini-olympics, and 2010 mascots Miga, Quatchi & Sumi are set to make an appearance.
