Memorial Service Industry Changes
What can you say about a funeral home setting up shop in Kitsilano? I hope I won’t have to use their services in a very, very long time, but it’s good to know that they’re there. Taking over Burrard Produce’s old spot at 1815 West Broadway (@ Burrard), Kearney Funeral Services has moved one of their three funeral homes 8 blocks west from Fairview into Kits.
At the same time, the Memorial Society of British Columbia – a non-profit organization that helps members plan their memorial service – is moving in the opposite direction, from 1847 West Broadway to 640 West Broadway.
