Salmon Celebration at Vanier Park
The False Creek Watershed Society is hosting The Salmon Celebration at Vanier Park this Sunday, September 30th, from 12-4pm:
We honour the spirit of the salmon that used to live in the streams
that flowed into False Creek. We invite all to participate. Bring props
and masks. Whatever inspires you to remember a lost salmon stream.
There will be entertainment, crafts, food, storytelling, an environmental fair, wooden boat building, and First Nations participation.
