Poor parenting in Kitsilano
From today’s Vancouver Sun – what was this lady thinking:
A baby was left alone in a parked car in Kitsilano Friday afternoon, prompting Vancouver police to warn against such behaviour.
A motorist spotted the baby and the mother, who was doing some shopping, was confronted by the arriving firefighters, Const. Howard Chow said.
“Temperatures can rise significantly if the windows are rolled up. It doesn’t take long for someone left in a car to sustain injury,” Chow said.
