Kitsilano’s most important weekend

1028

If you live in Kitsilano, you know the importance of being in town this weekend and it has nothing to do with voting. This Saturday the City of Vancouver will be doling out Kitsilano resident permit parking decals at Henry Hudson School. If you don’t manage to get there the weekend you’ll have to hike over to City Hall on the East side.

Every November brings the changing of the seasons in Vancouver. This means both the color of the leaves on the trees and the parking decals on our cars. The impact on Kitsilano.ca doesn’t stop there – as you may remember, we’ve been handing out fake Kitsilano parking stickers to anyone that has asked (and we still have a few left). Well these are quickly becoming out-of-date (or collector’s items) and we’ll be looking for a new schtick to promote this blog. If you have any ideas, let us know. We’re happy to knock-off other super recognizable Kitsilano icons.

Picked up my new parking pass last night – it’s yellow for 2006. If you’re making more stickers – I want some.
